We have a fantastic opportunity for a Gallery Manager and a Gallery Assistant to join our vibrant art community in Fremantle, working closely with the renowned artist Anya Brock! (that's me!)

We are a dynamic art gallery nestled in the heart of Fremantle, dedicated to promoting vibrant and joyful work and fostering a love for art in our community. Our gallery proudly showcases the extensive works of the expressive (and hilarious) artist Anya Brock, whose creations captivate audiences far and wide.

As the Gallery Manager & Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in curating an immersive art experience for our visitors. You will assist Anya Brock in managing her exhibits, engaging with art enthusiasts, and ensuring the smooth operation of the gallery. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a thriving artistic endeavor and contribute to the cultural landscape of Fremantle.

There's two roles available:

MANAGER- Full time position 5 days/ week.

ASSISTANT- 2-3 days/ week.

Opening hours up until Christmas will be 10am - 5pm

Hours after Christmas may vary.

Curate and manage exhibitions featuring Anya Brock’s captivating work.

Provide exceptional customer service, engaging visitors and promoting artwork.

Assist in organizing art events, workshops, and community outreach programs.

Manage gallery operations, including sales, inventory, and administrative tasks.

Collaborate with Anya Brock to enhance the gallery's aesthetic appeal and overall visitor experience.

Passion for art and a keen eye for creativity.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Previous experience in gallery management or arts administration (preferred but not mandatory).

Enthusiastic, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.
