Consumed Then Forgotten
This is a drawing of a friend. I draw in a layered way that to me feels ghostly and honest. I prefer not to erase the "mistakes"- the lines that didn't feel right and instead leave them as faint markings in the background. It's like being honest about all of your shortcomings.
This original charcoal drawing is part of a collection of raw, expressive studio sketches. It’s on cartridge paper and will be posted unframed and rolled in an art tube.
